How stupid is it to have all the swings removed from Johnson City Parks and not just the ones that might have been a safety issue. Now the kids have to go all summer without swings because Johnson City Parks and Recreation don’t know when they’re gonna be able to get the swings in. Maybe it’s time to get some educated people in there.

Basically the park and rec department has skipped over north Jc. We have lived here 30 years in the area near the med tech parkway. There are few side walks or bike paths that allow access to activities and shopping. As older residents the senior center is very inaccessible to elders due to distance and lack of reliable transportation and any to access without some type of motor vehicle. North Johnson City residents have been passed over in planning for activities for seniors especially in light of the fact that our taxes do not support our needs.

Amazing support for a local scout outing at the Robert Young Cabin! I coordinated with Connie D. to bring my den of scouts out to the Cabin for a hands on history tour. Connie opened the cabin up for us during our afternoon meeting time and gave an outstanding presentation. During her presentation history came alive for the young scouts of Pack 240 in Gray as they were able to see and touch the things that helped our pioneering ancestors make it through the trials and hardships of carving a civilization out of the wilderness. Take the time to visit this overlooked site and flag this lady for promotion!

On your flyer, you said register the flag football online. Then I went to your website. It was so hard to find where to register for the summer camp. I searched it and it came out 2016 some info not related at all. Bad design of the website for patents who want to register sports for there kids.
